August 22, 2012 - Piano Time

One of several artistically painted pianos that are available for playing in random public areas of the City of Shoreline located north of Seattle.  The pianos are in place for the month of August and the public is encouraged to pause, play and jot down their thoughts on a nearby notebook.

  1. I have never seen a piano resting area before. What an exciting idea! I have found places here in Wisconsin that have random notebooks for strangers to share thoughts, kind of like an old school way networking.

  2. Anna, I hadn't seen this before, either! I've since found that a few cities do something similar. Alas, I only remember the first few notes from "The Entertainer"!
